The couple moved from Montana to Texas in 1994. They are members at Gateway Church.  Their two adult children are married and they are blessed to have two adopted grandsons.  After twenty-six years of marriage and raising their two children, Jim and Cindy felt called to adoption.  They became licensed foster parents in 2010. Over the course of six years they fostered nine children.  In 2014, they were blessed when they adopted a sibling group of four children ages 9, 11, 13 and 16 and again in 2016 when they adopted siblings age 8 and 10.  Jim and Cindy recently celebrated their 33 wedding anniversary.
