Connecting God’s Families One Child at Time. Chosen Ones Ministry is an all -encompassing non-profit ministry that strives to recruit, support and connect foster and adoptive parents and provide the resources they so desperately need. We do not want any family to have to walk this journey alone.

Fostering and adoption can be a very overwhelming journey especially if you are new to the area, have never met anyone who walked this path, or just need a questions answered. Where do you go? Who do you turn to? Chosen Ones Ministry was birthed in 2007 to meet the needs of the founders Randy and Vickie Akins. After fostering to adopt an infant son, they quickly realized that support outside of their agency was nowhere to be found. In 2007 Chosen Ones held our first ever “recruitment” meeting at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. In 2008 our first monthly support group was born. As the needs were being identified, we started collecting items to give to families upon the placement of a foster/adopted child. In 2009 we created our first Just 4 You closet in a small 10X12 donated storage space in Keller.

– Just 4 U Closets –

The closets are available for foster/adopt families to use as a resource anytime there is a need. Whether you just got a new placement or your foster child has simply grown out of their clothes, we are here for you! We generally stock all clothing sizes 0 – 18, toys, diapers, some furniture, baby items such as highchairs, exersaucers, bedding, formula, toothbrushes, etc.

“The impact we have on a child when we bring that child into a Christian home is tremendous”
