Just 4 U Closet
The closets are available for foster/adopt families to use as a resource anytime there is a need. Whether you just got a new placement or your foster child has simply grown out of their clothes, we are here for you! We generally stock all clothing sizes 0 – 18, toys, diapers, some furniture, baby items such as highchairs, exersaucers, bedding, formula, toothbrushes, etc.
Foster care is a system by which, certified stand-in parents temporarily care for minor children who have been removed from their birth parents because of abuse or neglect. The ultimate goal of foster care is to provide the child(ren) with a safe and nurturing environment with the services he/she needs, and then to transition the child(ren) back into a healthy environment with their biological family, either with their birth parents or other relatives. When a child is not able to return home, the courts terminate the parents’ rights to the child(ren), and the child(ren) becomes available for adoption. Typically, the foster placement becomes the adoptive placement if the foster parents choose to be the child(ren)’s permanent home, what Chosen Ones likes to call their “Forever Family.”

Donate to help a child.
Every little bit counts. Every donation helps us connect God’s families one child at a time.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be the holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.”

In the fall, we had our first support group and met in a small office on Nolan Dr. in Southlake.
In October 2010, Chosen Ones obtained a small warehouse for the closet. It was a 30×30 warehouse in North Richland Hills.
In August 2011, Chosen Ones dedicated and moved into the Just 4 U Closet on Alta Vista in North Fort Worth with office and warehouse space.
In September 2014, we established another support group in Frisco, TX.
In October 2015, we had our largest event ever. Our Fall Festival drew an attendance of 268 foster/adopt families/children.
How Do I Begin?
First, a prospective family must choose an agency that will work with them through the state-licensing process. Chosen Ones offers information meetings (see Support Groups page) for families to hear about different agencies in the local area as well as listen to the testimonies of other foster/adopt parents.
Is Adoption What God Wants For Us?
Only God can answer this question for you. The families involved in Chosen Ones are here to pray and seek the Lord with you as you decide what the Lord’s calling is for your family. If the cry of your heart is for these children, God is probably leading you to serve them. Scripture indicates it is the church’s responsibility to “look after orphans in their distress..” (James 1:27). Children are a heritage from God. We are therefore accountable to Him for raising, shaping and preparing them for a life of service to His Kingdom and to humanity.
Can We Afford It?
There is no cost to begin the process of becoming a foster/adopt parent. All training through various agencies is FREE except minimal fees for First Aid certification (approx. $30/person). Once licensed, foster parents are reimbursed through their agency for caring for each foster child, a daily rate dependent upon a child’s “Level of Care.” If a family pursues the adoption of a foster child or a child already “available” for adoption, legal fees usually range between $500.00 and $1,000.00. Adopting through Foster Care is a much less expensive alternative to other domestic and international adoption options.
